Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign Is Coming This November

The next major Pokémon TCG set has officially been revealed, and this one is bringing back one of the biggest names in Pokémon: Mega Rayquaza ex.

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign officially releases on November 6, 2026, continuing the Mega Evolution era with a set built around Rayquaza, powerful new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Illustration Rares, Special Illustration Rares, and a new style of Stadium card.

For Pokémon collectors, players, and Rayquaza fans, Delta Reign is already looking like one of the biggest Pokémon TCG releases to watch in 2026.

Mega Rayquaza ex Returns in Delta Reign

The headline of Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign is easily Mega Rayquaza ex.

Rayquaza has been behind some of the most recognizable and sought-after Pokémon cards from previous eras, so putting Mega Rayquaza at the center of a new expansion immediately gives Delta Reign some serious collector appeal.

But Rayquaza isn't coming alone.

The set will feature four new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex:

• Mega Rayquaza ex
• Mega Golurk ex
• Mega Malamar ex
• Mega Golisopod ex

Delta Reign will also feature six additional Pokémon ex, giving both collectors and competitive players plenty to look for when the set arrives.

What to Expect From the Delta Reign Card List

The Pokémon Delta Reign card list will include more than 135 cards, with plenty of higher-rarity cards mixed into the set.

Collectors can expect:

• 17 Ultra Rare Pokémon and Trainer cards
• 6 Special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
• More than a dozen Trainer cards

With Mega Rayquaza leading the expansion and multiple Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards included, the chase-card potential is one of the biggest reasons to keep an eye on this release.

New Legendary Stadium Cards

One of the more interesting additions coming with Delta Reign is a new take on Stadium cards.

The expansion introduces Legendary Stadiums, which use two cards together to create a single Stadium. It's a unique mechanic that gives Delta Reign something beyond just new Pokémon ex and collectible artwork.

For players, these cards could introduce some interesting new deck-building possibilities. For collectors, they're another distinctive part of the set that separates Delta Reign from other recent Pokémon TCG expansions.

Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box and Sealed Products

As with a standard Pokémon TCG expansion, Delta Reign sealed products will give collectors several ways to open the new set.

One of the highlights is the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box, which features a special Kyogre Illustration Rare promo card. The Kyogre artwork originally appeared in the Japanese Storm Emeralda expansion but will instead be released as the English ETB promo.

Collectors can also expect the usual lineup of products surrounding the expansion, including booster packs and other sealed Pokémon TCG products.

It's still early, but Mega Evolution—Delta Reign has a lot going for it.
